Wednesday 20 December 2023

It's been a while since I said hello. However just want to pop in and wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.

I have cleared away most things from my workspace, a.k.a. dining table, in readiness for visitors.

I have still been crafting- I think two classes since my last post. Also made items for two sales for charity.

Below are the makes for charity, boxed up ready to go. I didn't photograph beforehand unfortunately.

Here are ladies that came to craft on 2nd December -  All Day. Everyone contributed to lunch and it was a fun day.

Here are the makes

I shall do my best to visit you all. Merry Christmas.

We are all still coming to terms with loss of Matthew's M.I.L. - Christmas will be tinged with sadness for us all. For many years Graham and I spent every other Christmas at Matthew and Carolynns, with Carolynn's parents. It will be an especially difficult time for Carolynn and her family.

  1. I LOVE the navy, gold and white Christmas star cards, they’re so glam! The ladies looked like they had a ball, wish I lived nearer, I’d come! I’m sorry you’ve had the cold as well, it’s been a cracker, I haven’t had one all year but this has knocked me for six. Hope you’ll be better for Christmas.

  2. Thanks for sharing the great photos. LOVE your cards. The Nativity is a favorite. Merry Christmas to You and Yours. May your days be Merry and Bright.

  3. I'm late calling in cos I had a surprise customer this morning who wanted 7 memory bears making before Christmas!!! Hense I've been head down sewing all day and hope to finish them off tomorrow as I am out tonight at Sam's singing concert [He's singing a duet with a little 9 yr old little girl so will be taking my tissues ].
I'm doing a flying visit today to wish everyone a very happy Christmas. Hope to 'see' you all after the festivities.

  6. I'm a bit late getting round today as we've been to pick up a new car this afternoon. Love the charity box and I'm sure they will too. Nothing better than crasfting with friends and the results are brilliant. Wishing you a very happy woyww Christmas. Angela x11x

  7. Oh Anne, I'm very sorry for your family loss, Carolynne will really appreciate your support over the holiday, as you and zi know, losing your a mum is incredibly difficult.
Youve had a busy month, your charity packages looked gorgeous and very generous of you. Nice of you to think of stopping by, a happy hristmas to you and yours. Xx

  8. Hello Anne, lovely to see you!! Your craft day looks such fun and I'm loving those card designs and decorations. It is so sad when we lose loved ones around this time, I know things are not the same for me without my mum. It may be a small consolation right now but it does mean they will always be in your heart and thoughts at this time of year and hopefully over time those memories, especially when you are together as a family, will become a treasured part of your celebrations. Big hugs, Cindy xx

  9. Hi Anne, loving all the makes at the craft day, the star diecuts and gorgeous. Sorry to hear of the loss in your family at this time, my heart goes out to you. Hugs BJ#17
