WOYWW 521

Another week already and next stop The Crop!!! How exciting.
My week didn't go as planned. I was supposed to go to visit mum but came down with a virus and had to postpone :-( managed to re arrange accommodation so hope to be  fit and well. Things with mum are a worry and I hope to find out a little more about exactly what is happening.

Here's my desk - I moved what I was working on - a secret until Saturday.

This is how it looks now. I'd been looking for a thick twine - then decided to try and tidy the tray a bit. Got fed up and left it.

So short and sweet again. Why not click on WOYWW on my sidebar and pop along and join in.
Looking forward to seeing those who will be there on Saturday.

  3. You mum is in my prayers each night, so sorry to hear things are still a worry.
Sorry also to hear you have a virus, hope it disappears before Saturday and you are well enough to make the crop. Especially as you have something interesting you are working on.
    Until Saturday then

  6. Oh Anne, sorry to read about your mother and your virus. I hope that doesn't detract from your attending the crop.

Too bad you never found twine on your table. I see lots of other string, though. Happy WOYWW from #1.

  15. We are lucky to still have parents but it's hard. My mum is 91 this year and my dad 92 and I worry about them all the time. My mum seems to forget how old she is and insists on doing things she really shouldn't and then falls. Hope you're feeling better too soon and make it to the crop. Wish I could be there with you. Have a lovely crafty week and a happy woyww, Angela x17x

  19. Hi Anne - Couldn't comment earlier as I spent Wednesday lying prone on the settee feeling VERY rough - however... here I am now.
Sorry to hear things still aren't sorted with your mum. I hope you get some answers when you go down. I have to confess, though, that I was highly amused at the tidying, getting fed up and leaving it!! Just how I deal with things too.
Take care. God bless. See you Saturday.

  20. That's a bummer that you had to cancel a visit to your mum due to a virus, but very kind of you not to risk her getting it. Get well! Have fun at your event.
