WOYWW

Hi all. Thank you for all the comments last week.

I think it was Shoshi mentioned a water colour on my space? It is  a printed watercolour 'look' on some grid paper. Very pretty.

So what have I been up to, a struggle to remember lol

I visited with friends, in the garden of course. Tea and cake, very civilised. Jonathan and family visited us after school last Friday.

We have been pottering in the garden while the weather has been good - having a real sort out and tidy up!

Today has been cold  but we ventured to a garden centre for some bits and bobs.

Crafting wise I have been making birthday cards for Jonathan, his birthday today and for Graham who has a birthday on Friday. We hope to spend some time with Jonathan and family- he has now put the gazebo in his garden and set up heaters- better than nothing.

I also had to make a sympathy card for my friend - her dad died a week ago. 😢

I have other birthday cards to do and would like to offer my class ladies a kit again, only very simple this time.

So we have the last few handmade cards I received.

My desk with the sympathy card and birthday card for Jonathan.

Below some of the cards I received for my birthday! I was very spoiled.

The front garden in the sunshine - the blossom has been gorgeous though the photo does not do it justice.

Well I think I had better finish there.

I look forward to visiting desks and seeing what you have all been up to.

  4. Ah Anne, it’s late in the day and I’m the first to comment because your link was a bit broken and of course, till I got to your name on the list, I didn’t know. All fixed now, but don’t take the lack of comments personally will you...prior to 730pm today, your blog was unreachable. You really have had some beautiful birthday cards Anne, and don’t you know a lot of card makers! You weren’t spoiled, you are loved. I think a gazebo with heaters sounds splendid, we could really use that, had after work cuppa in the garden with a friend on Friday last nad we had to wrap in fleece blankets!

  5. So many lovely birthday cards, it must give you great pleasure to look at them. I only take my cards down when it’s my husband’s birthday a month later. I would love to have a craft class, but I only know one other crafter. Happy WOYWW Angela #16
