WOYWW

Hello all. Thank you for comments last week. I was quite late getting back to some of you but I think I managed it in the end.

The week has flown by. I did a doorstep visit to a friend who had a birthday, her second one with no visitors allowed etc. Another doorstep hello with another friend.I have managed a couple of walks - trying to increase exercise though the FM and wretched arthritis don't help with my endeavours but every little helps right!

I have been trying  to find my mojo and made , well not quite finished yet, some Easter cards. I will share properly next week.

Yesterday I observed the minute silence for those lost to the virus and who were impacted by it. I remembered mum,  I could not visit until the day before we lost her, I think she gave up as she missed physical contact so much and not seeing us all. Of course I remembered dear Shaz. Last night I lit a candle for all.

I watched Shaz's funeral, what a wonderful send off Doug had organised, so Shaz.

Sadly that afternoon we had another, my husband's boss - from a few years ago.

Anyway here is my desk, aka the dining room table. Not terribly exciting but at least I have managed some crafting this week. Do take care and stay safe.

To the right of my working area.

Where I was working. Hope to finish assembling the cards today.

  3. Hello Anne, good to see you. I'm managing to get out every day and I think it does help, even if some days it is more endurance than enjoyment! My mojo is off isolating somewhere but not that bothered, just trying to take each day as it comes. Can't really do anything else can we? Enjoy finishing your easter cards! Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs, Cindy #27

  4. Hi Anne. Well done. Your cards are lovely - coming on well. I have made all the church ones I was asked to, but nothing yet for the family!! Oops. Must crack on with those... Hope you enjoyed your walk. I went into the village today to do some shopping - and it was so lovely I went walking along the prom. Glorious - blue sky, fluffy little clouds, tide out so lots of sand, loads of people out walking. Then I took the car along to the little kiosk and had my first ice cream of the season! YUM!!!
    Take care. God bless.

  12. I managed to see a friend yesterday (doorstep visit), I couldn’t stand for long so she came out while I sat in the car. We used to meet up every week before the Covid. Your cards look pretty. I like the colour combination. Have a great week Angela #3

  14. So nice to have a doorstep visit, I haven't had anyone over here since September I think. The weather is getting a bit warmer here, so patio visits may become a thing to do soon. You desk looks quite busy and productive! Have a great week, Lindart #30

  15. Pretty cards Ann, and with the very appropriate purple for Easter. I spoke to Bt this week, desperately unhelpful. Are you still having trouble accessing this site unless you use your phone?

  16. I'm glad you've been able to get out and about a bit, Anne - so sorry to hear you suffer from FM. I have ME and at least I don't have the degree of pain you FM sufferers endure but no muscular endurance and poor balance means I can't go out any distance at all without my wheelchair or buggy - still I'm not complaining because I manage OK at home and me and my trolley are joined at the hip!! I expect your Mr Mojo has gone out for an extended walk too. Bet he doesn't have FM or arthritis! I hope he soon remembers where he belongs and trots back to help you out.

Very pretty Easter cards on your desk.

Thank you for your visit - I'm glad you enjoyed the kitty stuff this week, both real and crocheted. When I found that pattern for the kitties with their little pink bums I just couldn't resist - I knew they had to be incorporated into my hubby's blanket!

Amused to read about poor Phoebe (her namesake was the same!) - actually car sickness is horrible - I regularly threw up as a child as well, and my wretched sister never did. Life's definitely not fair! At least with car sickness most people do grow out of it. My dad had a theory that it went along with the later development of migraines - certainly the case with both him and me. Does your Phoebe get them?

    Happy belated WOYWW,
