WOYWW

Hello everyone. Thank you for all the visits and lovely comments - I am hanging my head in shame as I've not managed to pay a return visit to everyone. I promise I will do better this week.

On Wednesday evening I was taking part in a FB chat room get together. Pre Stampin' Up!, Virtual Onstage get together.

Thursday evening I was Online for about two hours for Opening event and  Achievers Awards. I am very lowly but my name was there for Team Building - I feel not really deserved but hey ho its how they do it.

Friday was from 8am until about 3 I think. Lots of demonstrations, seeing new product etc.

Saturday some final demonstrations amongst other things - I'm not a business demo so not really into that side.

It was lots of fun, chatted with other ladies via FB got a couple of prizes. I was shattered afterwards- felt as though I'd been away all weekend for it, as in the past.

I have been crafting /involved in it so much the last four weeks - I am glad of a break. I am sorting my room out now.

My space not very interesting tonight (Tuesday)

In the basket are some of my ribbons. The boxes at the front have some stuff that needs putting away.

The wooden box has more bits and pieces - the chocolates are not for me. I want to make something to put them into - a little gift for someone.

The colours of these tea lights are much more orangey - pumpkin colour. They smell divine. I am in a group of some other Stampin.Up! ladies, one of them had designed a class and realised she didn't have enough snowflake doilies and could no longer get them. I had some and sent them. She sent me the tea lights to say thank you. They are homemade by Made - Scents -, beautifully presented, I had not heard of them before.

Well short and sweet for me. I will try and get to all who visited me last week and more. Pop and see what this is all about. Visit  Julia and find out more.

Take care everyone and stay safe.

  3. That sounds like a virtual meeting ... and some! It must have been fun though and so good to be able to see and chat with people via the screen. Congrats on the award (must have been deserved despite what you say) and the winning of prizes.
That was a lovely gesture to send those doilies to the lady and I hope you enjoy burning the tea lights later - imagine how nice they will smell when burning.

  4. My friend was a stampin up rep but thankfully she gave it up last year as it was costing me a fortune with all the tempting goodies. I was always loving the stamps that were free when you spent a certain amount, and I did get a lot of freebies!!!!
Take care with hugs from Sue #18. xx

  5. Congrats on your award Anne! You deserve it as you put so much into your classes and kits, so well done! How lovely that the other lady sent you those tea lights as a thank you, you’ll enjoy those so much. And you’re being very restrained about the chocs, well done you!!

  8. How lovely of the lady Anne, to send you a gift for helping her out.I like the size of the tea lights too, bet they’ll last longer than the length of a meal, by dessert we’re usually watching tea lights fade and die! The SU! Weekend sounds like a marvellous event, you have to hand it to them, even virtually, they can really do it! Hope you got some great inspiration.

  9. I ordered an item from my local Stampin Up lady on 27th September and still not got it, or an explanation. Please note not complaining to you, just reading the words “Stampin Up”reminded me. It must be great seeing all the new products, but probably expensive keeping up with everything. I used to do Tupperware, there was always something new to buy. My own Tupperware is getting very old now. Happy WOYWW Angela #29

  16. My goodness, you have been busy, Anne. I am not surprised you didn't manage to visit everybody last week - there's no shame in that, we all get busy weeks at times and there are often things we have to do that take priority, aren't there. It sounds as if your meeting was very successful, though. Pretty tealights!

Thank you for your visit, and for your kind words about my brother in law. We really are going to miss him - he was a very special person. Your mum's funeral was at least open for some of the family to attend albeit spaced out and certainly not as many as you'd have liked. I just miss the getting together of the whole family and the opportunity for hugs and real chat, and sharing food afterwards.

Sorry you aren't so happy with your new glasses. They are so expensive these days, aren't they, and it seems hard if you don't like them after all that! My current frames have done so well and I'm quite looking forward to getting the new ones now. Most of all I'm looking forward to being able to see better, even if I can't get my cataracts done for the foreseeable future.

So glad you like my new tunic! As for my figure, on the whole-food plant-based lifestyle I don't have to worry about how much I eat any longer and all the food tastes soooo delicious! It's win-win all the way. I'm not trying to lose any more weight now - if I do, fine, but if not, I'm slap bang in the middle of a healthy BMI so no worries really. My stomach is STILL not flat but that is more to do with excess flesh after weight loss, and my pesky hernia, than too much fat lol! (I despair of ever getting that operation done now, having got lost in that hospital's system twice, and now covid...)

    Happy WOYWW,
