Jems Blog Hop - Celebrating Love

Well if I can remember how to link up I am joining in The Jems Blog Hop - Celebrating Love - well it is February

I did have lots of ideas that I wanted to try out but as usual I was pushed for time but didn't want to not join in - again.

My first offering is a card that I am going to send to my Mum. She is still in a Care Home 150 miles away from me - and exactly what happens next is uncertain but I won't see her before 14th Feb - Valentines Day so I thought I would send a card saying I love you and a little treat.

My photo is not the best, light was not very good. I have used the Painted With Love DSP from the Spring/ Summer Catalogue. The papers are stunning and photos really don't do them justice.  I stamped the heart and smaller hearts using Heart Happiness set and the Love You was from the Party Pandas Set - a free item from the Salebration Catalogue - when you spend £45. You can choose a free item with every £45 you spend.
The little treat box also uses the reverse of the paper on the card- it is quite tiny and will have two/three chocolate hearts in - mum doesn't eat much. The ribbon round it is actually the 1cm Shimmer Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue - I coloured with Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blends - new in the spring/Summer Catalogue.

I closed it with the Gold Library Clips in Annual Catalogue. I also added an insert and strip of paper to the insert - forgot the photo.

The gorgeous Painted with Love Speciality Paper.

I also made a card that I think I will send to one of my grandchildren for Valentine's Day - with some treats!!!! I need to add a sentiment and an insert yet - ran out of time today.

I used a Black card base, Real Red and Whisper White layers .The hearts were cut using Sweet and Sassy Framelits from the Annual Catalogue. The Panda is from the Party Pandas Set free with an order of £45 - Salebration. Love this set. Very versatile.
Hope you've enjoyed a taster of just a small selection of  a great selection of Stampin ! Up products
you could use to ' Celebrate Love' Hope to be back soon with some more!!!!

Next is the super talented Amanda at the Craft Spa
