WOYWW 416

Just want to say that my heart goes out to anyone affected by the dreadful events in Manchester on Tuesday evening. Words just don't seem enough.

Well it's Wednesday again, such a special one, 8 years of WOYWW thanks to the lovely Julia from The Stamping Ground - thanks Julia !

Thank you to all of you who commented last week, I loved reading all your comments. It was interesting re quality of my photos. I did say that I was not sure what had happened to the first one - apologised for the quality. Well thank you Vicky for saying she liked it - all dreamy :-) I didn't think the others were too bad - used my phone and I'm afraid this week's are the same.

I didn't get masses of crafting done last week, catching up with everything.

My work space as left last night. I have been experimenting and playing - trying to come up with ideas for my next class. As I said not had a lot of time so not got very far , and I also seem to have lost my mojo a little. A lot of stuff going on in the background :-(

Little sausage had his PEG fitted. I hope that life will be a little easier now for him and his parents. That is him below having fun before his operation. You may be able to see his feeding tube, it is attached to a pack on his daddy's back. Thankfully no more.

I look forward to visiting many desks later.

  2. Happy 8th WOYWW to you Anne - thanks for the love, support and great comments, it's much appreciated. I'm always in awe of your crafting, you have such great ideas. Don't worry about your mojo going AWOL, it'll come back when you're ready :-)

  3. For years I had the worst camera in the world, and no one complained. Your photos are so much better than ones I took with my old camera. Looks like you are working your way through some inspiration. I always say it takes longer to come up with a plan than it does to complete it. Happy 8th Anniversary from # 1.

  4. Hi Anne. Happy 8th WOYWW anniversary. I see what you mean about our desks - a remarkable similarity!! Still, as they say, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs... Not sure I want to actually add eggs to the equation which is my desk today, but there you go.
A lovely picture of little sausage. Trust things work out for him.
I also find my ideas have gone AWOL sometimes - but they normally re-appear if I get a few bits out and move them around.
Take care my friend. God bless. Your ATC is in the post. Should drop on your doormat soon.

  5. Doesn't seem anything wrong with your photos to me. Hope you find your mojo soon. I usually get out some tags or watercolour card and make something small or throw paint and ink at them to make a background if I lack inspiration. Happy anniversary. Sarah #27

  6. really it is the taking part that counts not the quality of your photos, i'm sure the peg (whilst it brings its own challenges) will be preferable to the ng tube...glad you still craft even during the more challenging times, pease can you private message me your address using my email on my web site? I can then mail out your ATC. dxxx @23

  10. Some times it helps to back up and shoot then crop the photo later? ( depth of field issues happen) but, really your photos are not horrible and mostly its a matter of practice just like anything. love the shot in the water fountains :) ~Stacy #42

  19. Well Anne, I'm trying the five minutes here and there technique and I don't find it at all helpful! Meanwhile, love the little crate and the floral cards, what a lovely idea.

  20. Hi Anne! Friends from Californian are visiting this week and we just got back from taking some of our grands to a park to play and enjoy a picnic lunch. I hope that your little one will be able to thrive after surgery, that you will have another creative surge, and that the other challenges in your life will be sorted out. xx
