So to my desk - I did warn you
Scrap paper for working on - had been using a new SU stamp. Been punching holes to make embellishments from the bits. I also spy a chocolate near my brushes missed that one. I dropped said brushes on the floor and broke the box they are in. Left it there thinking I might try to repair it.
Below is the display of stuff I took for the Open Evening. The wreath is based on the one in the SU catty. There are also a couple of items I was given (which I owned up to :-) ) but put them there to show the possibilities. There was quite bit of interest for the first workshop. Better decide what I'm making I guess.
Finally last Saturday I went to a card making class. I have not been for 6 months due to a lot of things going on with health issues with friends and family. We were given three sketches and had to then come up with a card based on each sketch with the materials available. Here are mine. I think they are ok.
The base card and centre panel are all the same colour card - cream.
On the one below you can't actually see the sparkly bits and also stickles I've used.
Was a bit disappointed with the sentiment. The green wasn't quite right and the ink pad was not very juicy.
Well that's it for now. If you don't know what WOYWW is then click on WOYWW button in my sidebar and join in the fun. I will visit as many other desks as I can.
Ah it comes to something when you have to think forward from Wednesday to Sunday to get your table sorted and cleaned - in my case, the whole room and it would take a week! Glad that you've attracted interest for your classes, it takes a lot of work doesn't it...and then getting people to actually commit..oy.
ReplyDeleteYou have been a busy bee! I like your cards actually, especially the leaf one, very smart indeed :-)

I adore your cards and display too. Glad to hear you were back at class, it has been a long time HUGS BJ#94 I got round to it eventually!
ReplyDeleteGreat desk and cards, Anne. Thanks for your visit and your good wishes for our move. Lol! What are YOU doing with MY pink spotty caddy lol lol!!! I always feel at home when I see it on your desk! Mine's feeling chuffed now I've liberated it from months of incarceration in a cardboard box and it can see the light of day again.

ReplyDeleteI plan to order that SU poinsettia stamp! It will be great for Christmas cards this year, stamped on red paper so no coloring needed! Love all your cards. I had to "biggify" that first photo to see what all the little bits all over your paper were. Lots of little holes!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards. Sounds like you have had a busy week. Thanks for popping by. 109
ReplyDeleteLovely cards you have there and the display of projects looks really fab, so should generate a lot of interest! Enjoy your pamper day... I have only had one hot stone massage and it was the most soothing and relaxing experience... cost a fortune though! Happy WOYWW from Annette #2
