Here we are again - Wednesday - well I'm actually writing on Tuesday evening as I have Card and a Cuppa in the morning. All ready for that.
Actually not a lot to report this week. Went out last night for a meal with some of the WI ladies. It's a bit of a breakaway group :-) there is a lunch time meeting - but as some have pointed out not everyone is free to meet at lunchtime. I can actually do either but the lunch time group have been meeting this way, same place for many years and let's just say that they don't like change.
Last Thursday evening three ladies came to do the class from couple of weeks ago. Had a fun evening - one brought wine ! There was chocolate as well :-)
My space and rest of the table - oh I did sort out that box last week :-) I have bee looking through part finished cards and extra's that I have cut for Card and a Cuppa to make up cards for the Craft Fair.
A few makes for said Fair - need finishing touches
Will be round to visit as many desks as I can. Want to join in with WOYWW then visit Julia's blog The Stamping Ground and join in.
Matthew fully recovered from his surgery and back to work - as he said 'Back on the right side' :-)

Glad your son has recovered so quickly, let's hope he takes it easy for a couple of weeks at least.
ReplyDeleteYou said 'a few makes' looks like a lot to me. You have been busy.
Wish I lived closer so I could join in with your little get togethers. I'd bring Prosecco.

Happy whizz day. I'm rather later starting my visits this week because I've been head down bear making all morning plus have just had to shorten an urgently required pair of trousers too...it's all go here lol.
ReplyDeleteReally glad Matthew has recovered well enough to go back to work. Lovely to see you ladies having fun together.
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteThat looks a happy group, Anne, and I do like the idea of wine and chocolate! Can't go far wrong with that. I love what I can see of the makes for the craft fair, in particular the white flowers in the foreground. I hope that all goes well.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Hi Anne, your crafty get together looks great - wine and chocolate, you can count me in. If I lived closer! I know what you mean about lunch time meet ups. All the local crafty coffee sessions all meet during the day, so I cannot attend as I work full time. I'm hoping someone in a stamping group I belong to is organizing an evening crafty session, but it has all gone very quiet! Love all the makes you have made, well done. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #26
ReplyDeleteThank you for your return visit, Ann, and for all your lovely comments! I'm so glad you liked the book I got at the fete. I was interested to read that you'd had experience of the loom bands. I don't think they will be much use to me but the box is lovely! Thanks for asking - we had such a lovely day yesterday and a great lunch out. Afterwards we brought our friend back here and we all sat in the garden and enjoyed watching the kitties playing. It was the first time she'd seen them and she loved them! Thank you for your good wishes re my health. I'm not too fussed if I don't get the scan in Exeter before the Torbay appointment - it's not my problem - it's theirs to sort out the machinations of the NHS!!
