The weeks are flying by so fast , Wednesday again!!!! Thank you for all the lovely comments last week.
I did manage to be ready for my class. Although a little nervous it went really well and everyone insisted they had a great time and it was fun trying something new.
I did clear up well after Saturday's class but then was creating again today - Valentine cards and treats - made a real mess :-)
Will put some photos after my desk - then you don't have to look if you don't want to :-)
I made a card for each of my grandchildren and some treat bags, same for DH and sent Mum an 'I love you card' and a few treats - hope it cheers her up.
The cards and bags above were for our grandsons - I forgot to photograph the girls cards and they have gone now.
Below is for for DH - I'm not sure I like it now but had no time left. I also decorated a box and put some chocolate hearts in for him.
So that's my desk. I will be round tomorrow to see what others have been up to. If you want to join in, please do - pop to Julia's Blog and see what it's all about.
So class last Saturday - we used Brushos. I'd heard of them but didn't know what they were. Stampin Up have them ( just five colours) so I decided to try them and do my class based on them.
Ready and waiting.
The ladies - there were six this time
My samples
I managed to get photos of four of the finished sets.
We had a lot of fun and I think I will try and get some more colours and play some more.
Sorry it's a bit picture heavy but hope you've enjoyed looking.

Love your samples for the class Anne and the ladies versions too. That's the beauty of Brushos; the backgrounds come out differently every time. Have a great week. Sarah #14
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah. Can't comment on your blog but have been and looked. Thanks for popping by. Anne x
DeleteI bought my brushos from UK ... they’re so much cheaper there, and from Ken Bromley Art supply. Did some researchers on colours before deciding.
ReplyDeleteI love them Anne and use them a lot. Look under tab of brushos on y blog if that helps..
Had them mailed to my family and they posted them to me.

Hi Anne, lovely cards from the Brusho's. I do love them, you can get such different looks depending on how much powder and water you use. Great Valentines stuff too, love Hubbys one. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #15 XxX

ReplyDeleteI like Brushos very much when I've seen them on desks, the bright colours and slightly messy effect really appeals. I'm glad your ladies enjoyed the workshop, they look as if they're having a lot of fun! And your Valentines cards are gorgeous :-D

Hi Anne. Great cards - I love playing with brushos. Discovered them years ago when doing a C&G course - only have three colours (primary), but still enjoy them. Glad the class went so well.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Lovely stuff Anne, I bet your 6 customers were thrilled with their cards. I like brushos (I actually have an alternate brand), but I have to be in the mood or I make a horrid mess and everything comes out muddy! I love that you made valentines for everyone, and am sure that you will have raised a smile for your Mum.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun class! I like playing with brushos, but I make a mess! Beautiful cards! Thanks for your visit and nice comments. #40
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, I'm so glad your class went so well! I'm sure you all had great fun. I love all the cards you made - beautiful. Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment - glad you liked the card I made for my hubby, and my mystery project backgrounds too. We had a wonderful day at the craft show and I was completely wiped out yesterday but better again now. I've blogged about it and you can see all the goodies I brought home with me! I'm now trying to reorganise my studio!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
