Not going to dwell on what has kept me away - read previous posts for main reason of late.
I've not really done any paper/card crafting for a while. I did manage to make a card that I was asked to make for a 1st Wedding Anniversary for Son and Daughter in Law - it was very well received but I forgot to take a photo :-(
I also managed to finish my Christmas cake - see previous post. Also completed a scarf for each of my grandsons.
I had to buy all of my Christmas cards. have vowed that won't happen next Christmas!!!!!
So there is nothing on my desk/aka dining table at the moment ( had to clear table for Christmas)
So as promised way back here is what I made for Stampin' Up! Convention which seems a lifetime ago.
For team swaps these little bags
And inside them these 'angel' bag charms that I made
And finally the Christmas Wreath - recreated by the ladies at my workshop. I had seen this on Michelle Last's Blog and loved it and did ask her if she would mind me using her idea. Thank you Michelle.
Well all that remains is to wish you all A Very Happy 2014
I will visit as many desks as I can this time round - but definitely all that visit me, the ones I follow regularly and those ending in same number as me.
PS Dear Julia I am sorry this is a little long this time. x
Anne, I'm so glad to hear you feeling more like your normal self.. that's a lot of angel charms!! Bravo!

It's good to see you joining in with WOYWW, Anne! Thank you for sharing the awesome creations! I went back and caught up with you. It sounds like you had a really wonderful Christmas with the family and you had some great photos to share. I'm delighted you were able to muster up some Christmas spirit and enjoy the precious children! BTW, I also love how the Christmas cake turned out!!
ReplyDeleteI wish you a very happy and healthy new year, my friend. I know it takes time to come to terms with the death of such a dear one. It will be easier if you think of all the ways you can celebrate what she meant in your life and not dwell on the fact that she is no longer here. Hard to do, I know, but it's really all we would want our friends to do if we died.
I also pray that DH feels better soon and you don't catch the cough. Take care and all the best!! Happy New Year and Happy WOYWW! Hugs, Darnell #8

Hi Anne, thanks for visiting me and Happy New Year and WOYWW. Sorry to read about your friend, I'm glad you managed to spend time with your family. You will get the header sorted one day, if it needs to be bigger I can probably do that. Thanks for your good wishes about my back, it is a permanent condition and if things don't improve I may have to have it fused. Anyway I didn't make all the cards I should have done, and some of DH's relatives got none, I don't have their addresses, I must ring and see if I can get them.

ReplyDeleteOh Anne, I know just who you felt about buying Christmas Cards. I felt exactly the same way but sometimes you just have to think of yourself first and if that means shop cards then so be it.
ReplyDeleteMind you, it certainly looks like you did your fair share of crafting before Christmas.
Thanks for stopping by this week and a Happy and Crafty New Year to you.
