'You Are My Sunshine'
Well you find me joining in with The Jems Blog Hop for the second time. When I saw the theme I thought ' help ' what can I do? It came to me that the Delighful Daisy Suite fitted the bill beautifully. Everything associated with it seems to say Summer and Sunshine to me. Daisies have such sunny faces - well that's my story and I 'm sticking to it!!!!
So then I thought what to make.
I had already made this lovely Card Holder - I first saw it on Julie Scaparra's FB page. I did change the measurements slightly.
The light was dreadful when I photographed - I used Pool Party card, Delighful Daisy DSP, I think the labels may have been stamped with some retired stamps as is the ribbon. I used the new Pretty label punch though.
I love the daisy stamp set and punch ( hope they are soon back in stock as I have several ladies wanting to buy :-)
I have wired them and put in an empty Room Scent Diffuser bottle. I knew they would come in useful. I used Daffodil Delight and Whisper White cardstock. I have cut out the centres from Gold Glimmer Paper using the 1/2" circle punch which is perfect. I made the little crate as a sample for a class. There are five labels each featuring one of the new In Colours. There are five daisies on the front, each stamped with one of the In Colours. The crate is made using the new Wood Crate Framelits.
Sorry about the reflection. IKEA frame, used the Daisy Delight Bundle and the DSP is from the Fresh Florals DSP paper stack .
A small gift bag, used gift bag punch board, Daisy Delight DSP, Copper Trim Burlap Ribbon, a gold Binder Clip and the pretty label punch and Label Me Pretty Stamp Set.
For the card I used the new Sheet Music Stamp - I was thinking of the song - You are my sunshine, my only sushine I used the Sunshine Wishes framelits - cut several and glued together. Used the burlap ribbon behind Sunshine and the bow is the Linen Thread. Sentiments are from Jar of Love set and I used new classic label punch. Also used Wink of Stella which doesn't show up on here.
All together
Hope you have enjoyed looking and go and look at the other very talented Jems.
Next is Karyn - enjoy.
