WOYWW

Hello there. That time again.
Thank you to all my visitors last week. I'm sorry I was late visiting in return- life got in the way. I think I did get to everyone who left a comment.

My desk tonight, I did tidy up to be ready to start again.

The 'Printers Tray' ( thank you Sarah) was a homemade one, a little rough. I picked it up from somewhere. I wanted to make it part of a display for my class. I haven't quite finished it yet. So here it is waiting for me to complete in the morning.

I am also in the process of preparing for Crafternoon Tea on 24th Aug. I am a bit behind with things :-(
On Sunday I went to visit my Aunt who was 94. She is not easy and I got stressed, glad my brother and S.I.L. were there as well.
Yesterday was fun, one of my friends who also comes to craft invited us all to her house for lunch. All but one of the ladies could make it and it was a fun day.
She moved about 16 months ago and has been busy sorting things out and watching her lovely garden bloom. There was snow on ground when she viewed it. She moved in March last year and gradually the garden came to life. So many plants!

Looking forward to Afternoon Tea on Thursday. A treat from my friend ( belated birthday celebration)
Well I think that's all from me. Won't bore you with some of the other stuff.
Hope to get round on time tomorrow.

  1. I like your printer's tray, perfect for your craft supplies. Wow, your friend's garden is amazing, lucky she is. We moved into our farmhouse in January and was similarly amazed at all the flowers and plants we'd gotten with the new house.
    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  13. Your friend has a lovely garden indeed! I love your printers tray as well - so many possibilities with those! I have something similar and I never know what to do with it - still waiting for inspiration to strike. Love your seaside theme! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #19

  14. I love the colour you have painted the printers tray. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
Sorry the visit to your aunt was not a particularly good one. Just remember though that one day you will be glad you visited her, and I hope you go again.
Your friend has a beautiful house and her garden is wonderful. It is a good idea to wait and see what comes up - not being gardeners we tend to do that every year - wait to see what comes up!
    Take care, sending love

  17. Great job on the printers tray Anne...it looks fab, I wonder what you mean by not finished! Probably something really obvious that I’ve missed!! A little behind for a 24th August event? well I’d say at this point you are extremely prepared! Im sure it wont take much to get you to where you want to be. Im sorry you find this particular Aunt a bit stressful, I had a Grandma like that, everything was an implied criticism and I couldn’t bear it. I hope my old age doesnt make me tetchy! YOur friends garden is a joy isnt it, it must have been fun for them to watch it reveal itself since the spring.

  18. I am pretty sure if your friend invited me to her house I wouldn't want to leave. It's absolutely gorgeous. I dream of my flower garden being so pretty one day. A girl can dream can't she?

  19. Hi dear Anne. Love your printers tray I’ve never heard of them but love the seaside theme you’ve going there well done! Sorry your aunt is difficult it must be hard being 94, hard enough being my age, pray it goes okay next time you go.
So very exceedingly thrilled atc and card arrived, “all good things come to those who wait” comes to mind. Over 80 days seems crazy yours and Jo’s must’ve travelled together.. by seamail I suspect although technically letters go air mail and put right stamps and stickers on it.
    Anyway they came, praise God!
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
