WOYWW 449

Time again for a peek at crafters desks around the world. Such fun. Want to know more and of course join in? Visit stamping-ground where you'll find all you need to know :-)

So what have I been up to? Not a great deal really, taking it easy. I did go to a friend's last Friday for a lovely dinner- 9 ladies putting the world to rights. Both DH and I been a little under the weather, his is a recurring problem. he is very stubborn though and delayed going to get the medication he needs- went yesterday so hopefully he will soon perk up. I came down with a tummy bug on Sunday,  almost over now.

Still not a lot of crafting going on. However feeling better now, almost sorted myself out. Ready to start. Did make a card yesterday. It was a request - not entirely happy with it - a special request. I needed to use printer but ink is low and so colours didn't go to plan :-( hope the lady liked it. It was a free one so if not suitable she hasn't lost out.

So to my work space

I invested in a carousel tool holder - I looked at reviews of this on Amazon and saw that our very own Shaz Silverwolf had reviewed it and was positive so I went ahead and ordered. Very pleased I am as well. The pliers ???? well I had the idea to turn the top of my Raskog cart over and to use as a platform for the big shot. However I was not happy with it and so turned it back again. I've been moving stuff around and trying out storage ideas- now can't find anything :-) Best put those pliers back - DH will wonder what I've been up to now :-)

So that's it. short and sweet for a change. Will visit as many as I can. Bye for now.

  5. I'm glad you're on the mend Anne, it just takes the stuffing out of you, doesn't it? The carousel looks a great piece of kit - I bet you'll use it all the time. Shaz does honest reviews and always points out the positive and negative aspects of how things work.

  6. Hello Anne, I'm also recovering from a stumach bug, it's that time of the year :-( and luckily feeling much better today so I can make my round. And re-organizing and not finsing stuff can also be a good thing because all of a sudden you find long forgotten stuff ang get inspired to use it finaly. Vicky #15

  7. Hi Anne. I do hope that by doing nothing for a while, you will find your strength coming back - you have been through so much recently. Pliers... now there are a must-have in a craft space - John always kept pliers up in his art room - useful for all sorts... opening tubes of paint, taking the nib from his pyrography iron, holding things... the list is endless.
    Take care. God bless.

Am sure the card was fine and you were worrying for nothing. You do some lovely things.
Enjoy your carousel, I like mine - never thought of turning the Ikea cart upside down. Mmmm.

  12. Happy Belated WOYWW. A carousel would be great for me, as I currently have my tools organised but in different containers (ie scissors/pokey tools/tweezers in one pot, glues in another, paint brushes/scrapers etc in another, and so on ....). Will go and have a look and add it to my Amazon wishlist (it is my birthday in February!). Hope both you and hubby are feeling marginally better. My hubby has had an upset stomach for a few days, but typical man he will not take anything for it or go to the doctor/pharmacist. Ali x #7
