WOYWW 300 ******* !!!! ******

Here we are again Wednesday - time for WOYWW and a momentous one as well. number 300 !!! Congratulations to WOYWW and it's lovely founder - Julia at The Stamping Ground why not pop along and find out what's going on!!! You'll have fun.

Thank you for all all the lovely visits and comments last week.

Since last week I worked hard prepping for my class on Saturday - it went well and everyone seemed t enjoy it and are coming back for more :-) _ I'd better get cracking preparing for it- even though I only (usually) do one a month it comes round very quickly.
On Friday I had a play day with my Stampin Up Upline - a lovely lady also called Julie. We also went for a yummy lunch. Another of her 'downlines' was there as well. She had lots of new goodies that she kindly let us play with :-) .

DH and I went out for an Indian meal - very yummy. On Sunday youngest DS and family visited. My eldest GD told me all about the artist they are studying at school ( she is 7) he has captured her imagination that's for sure. It is Hundert Wasser ( hope I have spelling correct) she said 'grandma his name starts with W but you say V because of where he is from! We had to look at lots of his work via the internet. Anyway she wanted to make a road for her Barbie to travel on, on her scooter :-) and she wanted to draw things in her interpretation of Hundert Wasser. There were more photos but I accidentally deleted them .

Anyway to my work space

Above is showing my brief play this afternoon - not for my next class but the one after :-) an all day one I love that DSP from Stampin Up - Painted Petals - I think.

A view of rest of table - need a tidy up I think. The sheets are instructions for what I am working on for the all day class - I bought them!!!

Dreadful photo but this is what I'm working on for All Day class - any ideas?

Three recent makes ( well the 'bluey' one at the back I changed slightly ) Have two birthdays and a Wedding  Anniversary coming up!!

Still working on foliage in Sugar Craft!!!

Will visit everyone who visits me, my 'regulars' :-)  and all ending with same number as me. x

  3. Meant to check before I came in this little box whether you had posted the cards you did at your workshop or not. Must go back and see in a mo.
Not a clue what the box is going to be - a container for cards perhaps? But I like the three cards you are showing us, think I have that butterfly die somewhere.
Well, I am impressed with your 7 year old grandees road, brilliant colouring, now to check on Hundert's art as well.
Hugs & thanks for visit game - Neet 10 xx

  6. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier :) Looks like you are busy being a SU! Demonstrator. I used to be one for 10 years starting in California, moving to Kansas and then moving to Arizona. It is a fun business and I met and taught tons of fun people...but my artistic style outgrew it I guess :P I love the butterfly card! And your little person looks to be a promising artist :)

  13. Your cards are beautiful! Love them. The box? No idea.... are you going to alter it?
I just googled Hundertwasser. I like his art. He died in the Pacific in the year 2000. (The artist Gauguin lived in the Pacific too).
Now back to packing my suitcase,
    have a great week,
    thanks for visiting earlier,

  30. You are keeping busy! And your GD sounds positively precious! They do get excited about things. How old is she? I have a dear friend, Maestro Steven Byess - google him - you'll smile - who knew at the age of 8 he was going to be an orchestra conductor. He was inspired by a class visit to see a symphony. He said the experience was 'magical' and as soon as the maestro raised his baton and the music began he knew wht he wanted to be when he grew up. You just never know. Thanks for stopping by earlier. Creative Blessings! Kelly #73

  31. You sound busy, Anne - lots of lovely activity on your desk, and some very pretty cards.

Thanks for your kind words - you are right, it was truly awful having my surgery cancelled right at the last minute like that, but in the long run it's a good thing because we've got a clear fortnight in the house without Mum, and we can both rest and recover from all the recent horrible stress, and prepare for the rescheduled surgery on 18th. It's long enough away for me to bury my head in the sand and forget about it for a while - plenty of time for freaking out nearer the time lol!! Glad you enjoyed my "droopy" photo (very characteristic attitude from them both), and yes, I am relishing my fresh pineapple and mango, and a whole packet of cashew nuts that I roasted last night!

    Happy belated 300th,

  33. Oh that is one really busy desk and it is good to see, I love those cards you have created and what's going in the box? lots of cards? I create boxes for my cards to give them as sets like notelets. I am sorry I didn't return your visit last week, things really did go pear shaped on me and well time is sometimes difficult to create even when you burn the candle at both ends. So many things have been going wrong lately, I do hope you forgive. Anyway must shoot off and do some more work, thanks for sharing this week.

  38. Thanks for your lovely comment, Anne - glad you enjoyed your "virtual" Chinese meal on my blog lol! I am enjoying the rest and relaxation but I am feeling very, very exhausted at the moment, which is scarcely surprising, I suppose, given what I've been through recently. I just hope I'm feeling better by 18th so I can face my surgery.
