WOYWW 296

As always the time has flown by. I took photo of my desk this afternoon as knew I would not be doing anything paper crafting wise until tomorrow.

I had cleared up from my class on Saturday and then made Valentine cards for my grandchildren. I have also bought them a chocolate heart each.

You can also see a Get Well card for my nephew who has broken both wrists while snow boarding in Bulgaria!!

Also a New Baby card for one of my card class ladies who has just had her first baby - I think she might not be at class for a while :-)

The class went very well. I had eleven ladies altogether - that included three new ones. Potentially I have fourteen - hope they don't all come at same time as I will struggle for space. On Saturday they were trying to plan where I could extend :-)

So to my desk - not the best photos!!!! Realised it's not very good of the New Baby card but you get the idea.

Below are the cards etc we made on Saturday. I did case them - so not my original ideas - sadly. Sorry I can't remember who to credit :-( I made another two of the Valentine card - one each for my granddaughters. have made two different ones for my grandsons - didn't think they would appreciate pink!!

I forgot to take any photos of ladies and their makes - I was so busy!!!

If you'd like to find out more bout why I am showing you my desk click on WOYWW button in sidebar of my blog.
I will visit all who comment and all ending in same number as me as well as ones I visit regularly.

Other News this week!!!

Well it's actually been much quieter. Last Thursday and Friday I mainly prepped for the class. On Sunday I just chilled most of day as I was exhausted. Yesterday we had our granddaughters for the day as the teachers had a training day so they were off school. Had a super day. Ella finally got the hang of knitting ( she asked me ages ago to teach her - didn't get the hang of it so left it for a while) and Phoebe finished her sewing - so sweet. Forgot to take a photo of that as well :-(
Today I went to Sugar Craft Class and then came home and carried on with that as I am behind and we start a new project next week.

And finally a little touch of Spring

These gorgeous flowers came from one of the ladies on Saturday. They are gorgeous.

Have a great week everyone. x

  2. Well, I just had a good visit with you, Anne, and caught up on your posts over the last weeks that I had missed. I loved seeing you and your family and your celebration of your mom's birthday! And your creative projects are wonderful! I am so amazed at all the beautiful things you have made at your sugar craft group...gelatin flowers! You will be proud of me. I made some cards today using stamps...one for a b'day and one for Valentine's Day. Hope to do more of the latter:) We are celebrating my youngest SIL b'day tonight and I am off to peel some potatoes :) xx

  7. Aren't those tulips gorgeous! Reminds me of Holland.
What beautiful cards you have made. Yes, you are a busy lady.
We don't do Valentine's cards here and as I'm a married woman I wouldn't know who to send one to (except my husband of course).
Have a good week, hope the weather isn't too bad,

  8. How lovely that your classes are doing so well...I reckon you must be a good teacher! It made me laugh how they were planning how to extend the room though :-)
Your baby card is really sweet, I zoomed in to have better look. But your poor nephew...ouch. Both wrists, poor lad, that must be tough. Hope he heals fast!

  17. A lovely busy desk, Anne. I do like the cards! Sorry to hear about your poor nephew. My hubby broke his wrist in the autumn and it was bad enough with one arm in plaster, let alone two!!! Thank you for leaving such lovely comments on my blog, and for your kind words. Your prayers are so much appreciated!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  18. It's nice to read of someone else who does valentines for the kids. My partner and I don't really make anything special of it but he does buy chocolates for our girls. He started when they were little - two of them are teenagers now but he would never hear the end of it if he stopped now ;)

    Your cards are beautiful.

  19. Wow, you're so busy! A good job I don't live near you, or you'd have 15 to your class!! I love all the work you produced, but can't stop thinking about your poor nephew and TWO broken wrists! Hugs, Chris # 11

  22. Hello Anne. What lovely cards - you ladies must have had a great time that Saturday. Ouch - your poor nephew! trust all goes well as he recovers!
As to the wetroom - you don't need to be envious - 'cos the reason we had to do it was because of John's really poor health. He can no longer shower himself - and the picture of me trying to shower him when he is inside the shower cubicle and I am outside surrounded by towels, and threatening to need a swimming costume (would not be a pretty sight) to avoid drowning..... you see why we HAD to get more space??!! The new room works really well - and I no longer need the swim wear!
Thanks for visiting - glad you liked my meagre efforts.
    Take care. God bless.
