WOYWW 250

Gosh I seem to be doing well with posting on my blog this week :-)
I had hoped to show you the quilt this week but have a little more left to do so will hang on a while. Mind you I'm a bit nervous about it as there are so many brilliant quilt makers on here. So Julia and Jan you have to wait a little longer. Also thanks for the good wishes for Mum. She is still not right but seeing GP again on Thursday.
I've also been managing to make a few cards and join in with some challenges - been enjoying that. Ages ago I said I was joining in with the Documented Life Project . I am rather behind with it - but not stressing, some of it is amateurish but I a enjoying experimenting.

Here are a couple of pages

I'm doing mine as an account of what happens during my week. I'd had my nails done on the Wednesday :-)
The challenge for that week was do something that you have been inspired by. I actually saw something on a box of tissues although what was in my head, on the box was nothing like this. I scrunched up a tissue and then sprayed with water and dropped ink onto it and let it dry. Then I stamped over it.

So to my desk - thought I'd show you my actual desk this week as well

The other side - promarkers, boxes of ribbons and embellishments. The picture with the shoe was a team gift at SU Convention. The other bits I've made . As you ca see my desk is not very big - hence why I use the dining table - below. It's quite tidy - well this bit anyway :-)

Can't show cards I've been making at moment until they have been received. I will visit as many other WOYWW'ers as I can. Want t know more ? go over to the lovely Julia's Blog  and join in ! See you next time. x

  1. Well, I propose that your desk is tidy because you use the dining table...I think you are lucky..my darling would I. Think, pass out if I started to emigrate into another room!

  2. great looking desk and I love the organization! I don't know how people get by without the marker storage! We seem to be on a similar color scheme this week. I just felt with the warmer weather I wanted to see blues and greens! It worked with my dragonfly tag. Thanks for visiting my desk and leaving a comment and Thanks for sharing. Vickie #45

  11. Anne! I am so excited to see your DLP! I am having so much fun in the little bit of art journaling I have done so far, and love that we share that interest, too! In two weeks I am supposed to meet my sisters in CA for a few days and I am hoping that while we are together we can put together more albums of the story of our parent's lives...so that our children and grandchildren can know more about them and their heritage. Wishing you happy days! xx

  16. That's really lovely DPL pages you have created. I feel bad that your mother is still not well. With all you have going on, I don't see how you can make anything, especially something this lovely. Thanks for visiting me earlier today (because it's still Wednesday in my world) and happy WOYWW from #2.

  17. Anne, thanks for visiting me, we had a lovely day out on the boat, didn't want to come home, going out for longer on 30th.
The colours on your DLP pages are wonderful and are they butterflies stamped in them? Beautiful.
