WOYWW 249

As always I've been very busy. Last weekend away visiting our eldest son and family to celebrate his birthday. A bittersweet weekend in some ways. My younger son joined us with our granddaughters but sadly his wife stayed at home to spend time with her parents as her father is very poorly. We missed her very much but of course understood.
The weekend before I was at my Mum's. She is still not one hundred percent well. Had a lovely time with her though.
The days in between filled with looking after my granddaughters at times, packing and unpacking and various craft activities.
Anyway I'd best show you my desk. I did have a massive tidy up and sort out after the class I did but it doesn't stay like that for long!!!! I did photograph it earlier today when it was sunny as I knew I would not be doing anything at it until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.
I had been making a card but can't show it at the moment - just a chance it may be seen by the recipient.

A little bit further along - I certainly had a lot of stuff about for one card :-)

Then other end of my work space - folded is the Lilybo quilt - that is almost finished. The foam has some sugar flower petals drying in it and there is my old printer. I am still trying to decide which one I am going to buy. Decisions decisions!!

Well not the most fascinating post this week. Thought I'd better stick to the point. If you'd like to join in with this peek at desks across the world then go to Julia's Blog - she's the Boss Lady and join in. Will be back to visit desks later. x

  3. You sound very busy, Anne but in a nice way! It always amazes me how much stuff you need to get out for one card, my desk always looks like a bombsite when I'm done so you are not alone!! Trying to decide on a printer has the be the hardest thing and it never gets any easier the more times you do it does it!!

  6. You are like me, my desk never stays clean for long! Well I do hope you try making a bubble wand necklace. It is easy to get the hang of it, and they are so fun to make. I hope your mother continues to get better too. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #12

  12. It is amazing how much stuff we 'need' to make one small card isn't it. I have a love/ hate relationship with printers I love them until they don't do what they are told then I really hate them
Hope you will show the pretty side of your quilt too

  13. Amazing what we can get out for just one card isn't it? I'm amazed I am managing to keep up with the DLP as well as the other challenges. Not bothering about most of the deadlines has helped enormously and having such a small diary helps too. Thanks for the visit BJ#39

  16. Yes, I realize I was here earlier for a Friday Smiles visit, but it's been one of those life-gets-in-the-way type of weeks. Nice to read good news about your mother. And as always, I'm impressed when I read about a Lilybo quilt. So sweet of you to do this. Happy very belated WOYWW from #7.
