Friday's Smile
I haven't been able to join in with Annie's Friday Smile for a while. Last two Friday's I was away and prior to that away from my laptop . Really wanted to join in again and especially with this photo. Last week we went to see our son and family in Yorkshire. We were there to see our grandsons Harry and Sam get into their costumes for World Book Day. They decided they wanted to be 'Where's Wally ( Harry) and Burglar Bill ( Sam) Anyway they certainly made me smile many times over the long weekend - along with their cousins - our beautiful granddaughters.
Sorry it's not very big but I took it with my phone and I'm not clever enough to get it from phone to blog via laptop any better than this :-) Anne x

Oh this did make me smile Anne - they look superb, I recognised them immediately!
ReplyDeleteI keep reading about World Book Day, but we in the States don't seem to celebrate or recognize it. How wonderful that you were able to be there when those precious darlings dressed up in their favorite book characters. That was a definite smile in my book!
ReplyDeleteI love World Book Day - such a great idea to get everyone involved. The costumes are fab. x Jo
ReplyDeleteThat takes me back Anne. Years ago now, I bought the first Where's Wally book for one of my sons, and they have all spent hours and hours pouring over it to find him. It was a very clever concept. The boys look grand in their costumes. I hope they enjoyed their day. Kate x
