WOYWW 242

As always another busy week - went far too quickly as ever. On Thursday DH and I went off to Yorkshire to help with our grandsons as our son and D.I.L. both had to work at various times from Thursday to Sunday - sometimes overlapping. The joys of the medical profession. However we did get to spend some time with them as well as our gorgeous grandsons so a great weekend. Had granddaughters over the last two days so lots of fun times!!
I am still working on my Documented Life Project - in my own time/own way.The fun thing was that I took it with me at the weekend and the boys wanted to add to it. Brilliant :-)

So to my desk  ( pop over to the lovely Julia's Blog   if you happen to have stopped by and haven't a clue what WOYWW is ) Sorry for a bit of a waffle before I got to this bit Julia.

I have been preparing for a class on Saturday and so have all sorts dotted about. Don't tell anyone but I am not using current SU papers as I bought some for a class last year that got cancelled and I have to use them up. I was also counting how many of the flowery one you can see as someone wants to buy them. Lucky me.

Also took a photo looking along the table, as you can see a bit of a jumble. My actual desk is in far right of picture. Also had to get my old printer out. Have another that is wireless connected but it's playing up. It was a freebie though but need a new one. Sorry re poor photo took it tonight as my desk won't change until late tomorrow morning when I hopefully get time to finishing prepping for the class.

Above my latest card make . This was for a swap with ribbon theme. It has been received now so it is ok to share.

Well that's all for now methinks. I will visit anyone who visits me, those I follow and anyone who ends with same number as me. Though that doesn't always work out as the number sometimes changes :-) Bye for now. x

  6. Hello Anne. Wow - your week sounds manic with all that travelling and looking after grandchildren - but how precious that they want to be creative!! Important - not only is it a great way to share with our little ones, but we are encouraging them to be who they were created to be... wonderful
Ah, now, Abakhan... You will find them on google, but they now have several stores around Britain - got a feeling one is in the NW Midlands. A great fun place where everything is a second, but many treasures to be found! When our girls got married we bought all the wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, men's waistcoat, and veil fabrics from them - a HUGE selection to choose from, and both girls looked just fabulous in their handmade, bespoke clothes!!
Yes, thanks, the meal was great fun, and a challenging experience. BUT, greatly enjoyed by all the guests - and that was the main thing.
    Have a great week.

  11. I used to be a SU demo years ago but stopped when my husband passed away. I then revisited my stamping and love it again. My new hubby actually encouraged me to go and stamp and made me a room! I love your stash of inks there, and those amazing papers. I still have a large stash of SU papers from years ago, and use them all the time as I love them. I am currently using my chocolate chip roller today from SU. Hope your class goes great! Love the pretty pink card! Thanks for the visit today! Winnie#68

  14. For being number 1 this week, I've sure taken a long time to return your visit. Blame it on Blogger and life getting in the way. You sure have a lot of stamp pads and paper. Very impressive. Happy very, very belated WOYWW.
