WOYWW 240

Another Wednesday has hurtled round and it's time for a look at desks here and abroad. I managed to visit everyone ( where I could get onto the blog) last week  - thank you to those who returned the compliment. Just in case you have no idea at all what I'm talking about then pop over to Julia's Blog and join in.

I have actually got my stuff out and am all set up to try and create. Finding it hard to start cards at the moment. After reading about the Documented Life Project I decided to give it a go. I've never done anything like this before and am not a 'natural artist' ( as you will see when you see my pathetic efforts to date)  but thought why not? Supposed to be a New Year - New Me - and I am enjoying playing with ideas etc.
I only bought a very inexpensive planner ( had ordered a Moleskine  one but then thought better of it0 - I still have not done the first two challenges and have lots more to do in other areas - judging by others I see - but all in good time.

Here goes

Where I've been working, checking I have everything for next planned workshop. I'd bought the instructions for this class and ordered all the materials and class got cancelled. Decided to have another shot at it!!!

And the bit I'm very nervous about showing - some of you are so talented
At the moment I have just covered the back/front of planner with paper and have other ideas for it.

Inside are several pages whichIwant to alter I have used the shaving foam technique and will use it as first page / divider and plan to put January on edge - I wish I'd used more ink in the foam but am going to add other stuff to it.

Last week's entries , bit of distressing and washi tape - need to fill in space at top on left hand side and then am going to put photo/pic of my front door ( as per prompt ) at bottom on right hand side.

So lots to do still !
I will visit anyone who visits me, those ending in same number as me and those I visit on a regular basis.

PS Although posting this Tuesday my desk will not change before Wednesday morning.

  4. Well I think you have made a great start to your planner. Mine is more of a mess of things to do and stuff. Leave the arty stuff for the tip-ins I'd say and keep up with the writing. You are doing just fine. Thanks for the visit today BJ#21

  7. Hi Anne
so many of us are so hard on ourselves and question is what we are doing any good. Well the answer is a big fat yes as you are totally committed to what you are doing and from the photos you are doing a great job on the cover and your pages.
start to relax and then you can start to enjoy it
Have a great WOYWW today and enjoy the rest of your week

  9. Hi Anne. You've done a great job on the front of your planner. I picked up one from the thrift store with the intention of messing it up. I should go over and check out the Document Life Project - would you mind stopping by and leaving me the link?

Did you ask the question about the fat phoebe? That's what I call the power strip. tee hee

    Thanks for visiting me already!
    Happy WOYWW

  11. Hello Anne. Thanks you for already visiting - hubby is beginning to improve - but it's a slow frustrating process for him - I'd rather he was REALLY better before they let him out of hospital - otherwise I see a repeat coming up!!!
Now, I realise I am biased, 'cos I'm a CAS sort of a gal - but I LOVE that shaving foam page - I'm not into too much decoration, just sufficient to set off whatever else is going on. Well done for giving it a go. You might not feel you are a "natural artist" - but you are being creative - and that's so important in our lives. Great stuff!!
    Love n hugs

  12. You are brave to start such a big art project. I am too afraid to even start. Maybe I will just look at what all of you talented people are doing this year and build up the courage and then start next year.
Love what you have done so far.
    Happy WOYWW!

  16. I stopped by for Friday Smiles and got caught up in your "life" and WOYWW, My sincere, albeit belated, sympathy for the loss of your friend. How sad. But you can be very proud of your journal. You have created a real beauty, regardless what you think. After all, we are our own worst critics. Happy belated WOYWW from # 5.

  17. I like what you have done so far on your Documented Life, Anne! The main importance is that you are documented little events in your life. I am inspired by that. I guess I kind of do that with my blog, but I love the thought of doing it in a journal so you can decorate the pages with anything that suits your fancy at the mo. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Gotta love that!! Keep up the good work!!

Happy Belated WOYWW and thanks for coming to visit me - I enjoyed your comment! Have a wonderful rest of the week!! Darnell #12
