Friday's Smile

I am managing to join in again with Annie's 'Friday Smile' post. I have had quite a few 'smiles' this week which has been good. I would love to show you a photo of my granddaughters  - we looked after both of them on Monday as it was a training day at school/nursery. Have some lovely photos but my DS and D.I.L. don't like me to put their photo on so must respect their wishes.
So what have I chosen - that made me smile? Well the arrival of these - which I love!!!!
My DS and family bought them me for Christmas and I smiled a lot when I opened them as I'd been looking for some just like this ( certainly need them when walking my grandsons to school through the woods :-) )
Decided though that needed next size up - once you'd put on a pair of cosy socks. So dear D.I.L. sent them back and the replacement pair arrived on Tuesday. Big smile from me :-) !!!!!!
Why don't you join in  Annie's Friday Smiles such fun.

  4. Not only are these quite functional, they are really colorful, too. I like how the bits of pink really pop.

I have an internet friend whose hubby won't allow her to post ANY photos of their family on the internet. One year she blurred her wedding photo in Photoshop that was taken when she told about her 10th anniversary, but that's the only time I've seen her face.

Have a great Friday Smiles and keep smiling over those colorful boots. Are they what you call "Wellies?" Yep, my American is showing (grin).

  5. It is such a shame that people feel so nervous of having pictures of happy children shown. It is a sad world that makes them feel like that. On the other hand, your wellies did make me smile, bright and cheery. have a good week. xx Maggie #7
