WOYWW 225

Here we are again doesn't seem five minutes since last WOYWW - what do I mean? If you really haven't heard yet then pop across to Julia's Blog she started it all and join in the fun :-)

Am a bit earlier posting this week. I have taken things a bit easier - cancelling one or two things as I have not been feeling well. Got the most awful cold/sore throat and now cough which I hope won't become a chest infection.

I did manage to finish some cards and the tag I was making last week which I couldn't show you. This was because it was for a swap and was going to Elizabeth (Silver Scrapper) However I then forgot to photograph it. Will try and get it from Elizabeth's photo on the Forum hosting the swap. It was ok. A bit out of my comfort zone - it was also supposed to be in style of Tim Holtz September Tag - but I didn't have much to work with. I did enjoy making it though.

Have made some cards but forgot to photo some as was in such a hurry to send them . They have been going into envelopes barely dry :-)

To my desk - the card featured is for my D.I.L. I saw something similar I think on images of SU cards. Cannot remember who - sorry. This was my version. My pink tape dispenser needs a refill. I hate doing it!! Have been using a bit of glitter :-) To the left I was trying out the Petite Purse Bigz L .

I prettied up two notebooks for my granddaughters and gave them a glitter pen with them.

My GD's card
A simple 'thinking of you' card

Below (excuse the poor backdrop - we are decorating the kitchen - still!!!!!)
is the cake I made for my GD. I thankfully finished it before I felt really poorly - well so I thought. On Saturday morning I popped into dining room to look at something else and noticed that the edible gems that had been on her dress had reacted with the icing and were drippin down the dress. Panic big time. The flowers cover the mess they made. Won't be using those again!!!!!

Well that's all from me. Will visit as many desks as I can tomorrow. Anne x

PS here is the tag. Elizabeth read this and kindly sent me a photo. Thank you Elizabeth. x

  2. Hi Anne, you do seem to have been busy despite not feeling at all well. Sorry to read that you seem to be getting worse rather than better - hope you recover fully soon. Your cards are all lovely and I do like the covered notebooks. And the cake is stunning - sure to be a winner. I've emailed you with a copy of the photo I took of the tag, which is, by the way, beautiful :) Take care and take it easy until you feel better. Elizabeth xx

PS: I won't be joining in again this week - too busy with the packing and just find the odd minute to sneak into the craft room these days.

  7. I hope you are feeling better soon 'cause when you do, you make the most wonderful things!!! I am especially in OOOH and AWEE over the cake (I am a lousy cook and even a more lousy baker myself... the only think I CAN cook properly are Zeelandisch mussles and a 'cream-banana-ElvisPresley-cake...) Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #76

  18. Hi Anne,

I hope you are feeling better. The cake is amazing! At first I thought it was a real doll. Wow. I know what you mean about forgetting to take photos - I think we've all done that at some point. The notebooks and card is cute! Oh, love the tag. How nice that Elizabeth sent you a photo.

I'm with you - I love boxes! I labeled them with what is inside and they will be located on the shelves in the living room as they are too big for the tiny closet.

Thank you for visiting me and leaving a comment!

    Happy WOYWW
