WOYWW 213

It can't possibly be Wednesday again!!!!! I know we all say it but really the last few days have gone by in a blur.
Oh and Blog life as we know it - well as I know it didn't come to an end on Monday 1st July!!!!!! So what did happen? I am not the most computer literate being on the planet so I did what a lot of others did/advised and joined bloglovin ( actually think I accidentally joined Feedly as well!!!!)- afraid I was going to lose followers etc and disappear into a blogin blackhole.
A weird thing happened last week. I wrote my post and on Wednesday duly linked to dear Julia's blog. There I was number 74. Later on I went to comment on your lovely desks and lo and behold I had disappeared from the list!!!! Thought I'd been a naughty girl and been removed from said list. Lovely Julia said of course not. So was going to just pop along and say hello to some of you anyway but didn't quite manage it. I was at my mum's and was very busy cooking, cleaning and arranging things for mum. She is still having 'funny' turns and is waiting to have a brain scan. She gave me a few scares last week I can tell you!!! I couldn't sleep wondering if she was ok. Was so relieved in the morning when I heard her .

Anyway I digress. Sadly if you look at last week's post for WOYWW then you will see my desk has not changed!!!! Go and compare. No paper crafting!!!! all week. Managed a bit of knitting and crochet en route to mum's.

Sorry it's so boring - again. Maybe it was the 'boring police' moved me last week :-)

Whilst at mum's last week DH did a lot of gardening for her- I happened to look out of the window and there he was sat on a tree stump like a little gnome - couldn't resist the photo. Then got mum to stand by him. She looks quite well on this photo - was pleased with it. Sadly she still has a way to go.

Hope to be more successful this week with linking and visiting. So if you want to join in the fun pop along to  Julia's Blog and link up and show us yours - desk that is!!!!!
See you soon. x

  3. Well it's working today Anne - so sorry about last week..am at a complete loss about it. Love the shot of your darling gnome, how funny! The good thing is - the desk will wait...and while you're distracted and worried about your Mum, it's nice to know there will be something to spoil yourself with when things are a bit calmer. Becoming the worrier for your parents is a big life turn around isn't it, certainly there's never a time when you're ready for it.

  9. Hi Anne, the photos are great - especially the one of your DH looking gnome like :) I do hope the brain scan happens soon for your mum and that it leads to a firm and treatable diagnosis. Take care and I hope you can get to your desk soon. Elizabeth x #60

  14. Sorry to hear you had problems linking, Anne. Blessed computers... Also sorry to hear your mum is not well. Waiting for tests is not pleasant - I know! Thanks so much for your prayers, and your encouraging thoughts on that subject. Also, so glad you like the look of my new ARTHaven so far - wait till you see some more photos! They should be coming thick and fast from now on!

It's nice to be back on WOYWW.

    Happy WOYWW,

  18. We all love seeing your desk anyway, Anne, and your posts are not boring! I laughed right out loud at DH in his gnome pose!! Adorable!! And, you're right, your mum looks the picture of health. I can imagine how stressful your worry is at the moment and I do hope the scan can tell what's going on and it can be treated. All the best and thanks for coming by to visit me! Happy WOYWW! I often have days/weeks like that too! Too much to do and not enough hours ;) Thanks for sharing and happy woyww Liz@63

  28. Hi Anne, thank you for visiting my WOYWW. It's a great idea to visit blogs that end in the same number - something I will try. As you say there are too many links to visit them all and it is nice to visit new ones as there are often nice surprises.
Hope your Mum's health improves, it sounds very worrying for you all.

  30. I hadn’t realised anything was going on with Blogger last week, didn’t do anything and still had my blog working as it was, showing my followers as before, which is a bit of luck.
It’s sad you didn’t get to do much crafting last week, but sometimes life gets in the way and family are much more important. Hope your mum’s on the mend soon.
Thanks for dropping by this week.
Don’t know what happened to the photo of my cakes, it was there……..blogger fairies playing tricks again. I’ve put it on again now.

    Happy Crafting!
