WOYWW 197

Really cannot believe it's Wednesday again and time for WOYWW  the brilliant idea  Julia  - pop over to her blog and join in. It's terribly addictive!!!

Well to be honest I wasn't going to join in this week. Have been busy catching up after being away at my eldest son's home last week. Spent today trying to craft but my middle finger on my left hand is swollen and painful. Think I will have to stop crawling around on all fours playing dinosaurs ( complete with mask :-) ) with youngest grandson. I remember it bending when I put my hand down but thought no more of it till we got back and it started to hurt. So crafting has been slow going!!!! Tomorrow will be spent at the hospital , well from ten o'clock with my Auntie until whenever.

I don't think my desk will have changed much from last week but here goes.
Taken this morning and there was some sunshine - yay!!! Can you see my WOYWW badge in background. It had come off my bag.

Below my actual desk with stuff piled up out of the way and waiting to be put away.

Other end of dining table to left of picture 1. Still lots to put away.

Hope ll the mums had a lovely Mother's Day, I did !!! See previous post.

My best presents were being with my family but here is what else I got.

Yummy Lindt chocolates, a beautiful button heart - made by my D.I.L. and a Cath Kidston knitting bag.

And beautiful tulips!!!!!

Well I'm off to link up. Will visit anyone who visits me and those ending with same number as me as well as those I follow. Bye for now. x

  8. Hi Anne, sorry to hear that your dinosaur finger is so painful and swollen! Hope it is soon better and no longer inhibits your crafting activities. You've got some lovely stuff on your tables. I always feel at home in your creative space because of "my" brown and pink spotty caddy sitting there like an old friend! Mine is now packed up in one of those hundreds of boxes...

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. So you also understand what it's like moving an elderly lady from a house to a flat!! I think Mum will be a lot better once she's settled and knows that we are there with her and she's not on her own any more - lately she's been very difficult and I'm sure it's just basic insecurity and fear of the future, and worrying about all Dad's stuff - but we are dealing with it all and all is well. It would help if she didn't keep moving things, though - we've got piles of stuff in her house, all sorted for this and that destination, and she keeps "helping"!!!

  13. You sound like a fabulous grammie....playing dinosaurs is a worthy way to be injured, but still, I suspect no fun after the fact. Hope you are feeling better soon and many hours of crafting are in your future!

  14. your desk and craft room really look ready for action. Maybe when you get home tomorrow you can play around a bit! Hope your hand gets better. I hate it when I injure myself and I don't know how I did it...crawling around on floors is a definite no no at my age but I do it anyway! Hope you have a great week! Vickie #1

  17. Hi Anne,

Look at all the supplies!!! Instead of a small round dining table perhaps I should get a long one! If only it'd fit.....

Your Mother Day gifts are lovely. Totes are always fun to get and button heart is so sweet.

    Thanks for visiting me already!
    Happy WOYWW
