WOYWW 197 oops 196

Here we go again another Wednesday. Since last Wednesday I've prepared for and held a class, had 5 ladies turn up so that was good. I went to a class at the craft barn I go to, which is sadly closing down. Last class there on 30th March. I've enjoyed playing with my granddaughters, been to Sugar Craft today and had a pedicure this afternoon, but unfortunately since last week I've had very little sleep and am exhausted. The night I took my class I could barely talk as I was still awake at 4 pm that morning not having been to sleep.
Anyway enough of that you want to see my ( not so interesting ) desk.
I was in a right mess so have tidied up a bit. Trying to make room on table to work on Lilybo quilt. Am ashamed I've not completed one yet. It will be done though!!!!

As you can see a clear mat ready to go. Two bags of tools etc, a box with bits still to go away and machine still in same place getting dusty!!!!

A view from t'other side. More stuff waiting to go away. A box with more tools and equipment and cutters a score board.

Now I know we should keep it short and sweet so if you want to stop there that's fine. Go and look here at Julia's Blog and find out why I am showing you all this stuff. Have fun.

Anyway if you haven't got to rush off this is my actual desk. It was an old washstand that had lost the marble insert. Can you see the mouse mat with my gorgeous GS on. He is now 7!!!!!

Here it is with some of the stuff removed. My DH's friend put some old reclaimed leather in the middle to replace the marble.

I also got the chair at the same time and he recovered it with some old fabric he'd taken from elsewhere.

Well that's my desk for this week. Will be off to link up with Julia and come and look at your desk/work space. Have a great week. It will soon be Wednesday again. :-) xx

I can fully understand the lack of sleep as a person living with chronic pain sleep rarely comes along for me

  7. Hey Anne you seem to be a week ahead of everyone else - LOL. As for sleep, I seem to be in a "can't get enough of it" phase. Sleeping in the day and dead beat by 8.30pm but I often go through phases like you too, no fun at all. I pondered a lilybo quilt but haven't even got my maching out yet! Love the table and chair. 14. Hi Anne - I'm late too this week. Life happens :) You ARE a tidy girl, don't kid yourself. LOVE your desk and chair, and please take note of Jo - don't overdo things, the quilt will be done in time chick.

Happy WOYWW - when you gonna link a snippets card or whatever into the Playground then? Don't tell anyone but the stamp I was using on WOYWW has a twin which will be next week's prize draw. Only sayin' :))

  17. It must be catching. I had a rubbish week for sleep too, but last night was a breakthrough with 5 hours of sleep on the trot. I feel so much better today. Tuesday evening we went to friends to play cards and I am sure I slept through all three games. The hidden project will not be on show until April as it is a DT project for Craft A Scene challenge. Thank you for your visit. I am off now to get the bread out of the oven. Have a good week. xx Maggie #37
