Well I didn't join in last week as I was away in Holmfirth visiting my eldest son and his lovely family, I did have a lovely time though I could have been better healthwise. I came down with a chest infection and have the mother of all coughs. My card making etc is very slow going at the moment and I fear I will have to buy some cards. Anyway my desk - well the dining room table as it was this morning.
All very safe explanatory really and not very interesting. I am using the design you can see for some of my cards ( I did that one card class) haven't got energy etc to think up designs as well. To the left is another small pile they will be a smaller version of one I did for the workshop I did. Wanted to use up card left from the ones on the left.
Well as far s my desk is concerned that's it this week. Will be off to link up with the lovely Julia and then go visiting.
For those who have time 'other happenings'
looking out of the window from the kitchen at my son's house.
My grandson Sam and his Mummy in the background.
Harry with Grandpa - can you see what they've been doing?
Yes making gingerbread men and very yummy they were as well.!!!!
A couple of cards I made before I went to Holmfirth, the first one as you can see was for my sister and the one below was for my niece - fairly obvious really :-)
Well that's all for now methinks. Hope everyone is feeling better than me at the moment. Anne x

Very interesting and beautiful your post. very cute the gingerbread. Kisses
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you've gotten rid of that cough. As someone with chronic bronchitis, I feel for you. It looks like your son has a wonderful new home and that you all had a super good time while you were there. As usual, your cards are awesome.

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm running so behind on visiting WOYWW desks! The wreath cards are just beautiful. I see you had a great, productive visit with family. I love gingersnap cookies - I wonder if gingerbread men tastes just as good!
Thanks for visiting me already.

Oh I loved your cookie photos! It's that time of the year! Nothing is more enjoyable than baking cookies with the younger ones! Loved your cards! I also fear that if I don't get going, I will be using left over cards from last year....I had 30 to many and had packaged them up to give away as little gifts the first of December...I am afraid I will NEED THEM myself! oh my!
