WOYWW 171

It's that day again - Wednesday and time for us to show off/or try to hide our desks again !!!!
my desk is a mess this week. I've had a lot on as well as several cards to make and we are decorating so there is stuff everywhere - not shown you that mess though - just my desk :-)

There are two drawers with some stamps in, ink pads, a stamp on an acrylic block  and even some glitter in a tray at the back needing to be put back ino it's container.

The opposite side of my desk and you can see where the two drawers of stamps need to go back. Stamps, promarkers etc etc.

Put my desk on first as usual cos I know some of you busy craft people haven't time to read ohter stuff. If you want to know more or join in then pop along to Julia's desk. Click on WOYWW button at bottom of my blog.

Since last Wednesday I've seem to have been very busy as I said before. I squeezed in making cards needed , going to my knitting group, food shoping( boring) going to my son's and staying for a BBQ last Friday evening- had a great time. Saturday morning I went to cardmaking class. The lovely Mandy designed the cards and took the class. Here's what we made

I had a great time there really enjoyed it.
This week so far we had our GD on Mon,Tues and Wed afternoons. She has started school but only stays until one o clock for the first eight days and as my DIL is back at work as well we have been helping out. I also went back to my Sugarcraft class yesterday - good to see everyone again after the summer break. We are starting by making gelatine flowers. Will show you some when I've done them. This afternoon my GD asked to make a card for her mummy, daddy and sister to say how she missed them when she was at school. She wanted to know what the cuttlebug was for so she did a die cut and an embossing which she used on her card. She said that when she grows up she wants to be 'a crafting lady like Grandma' bless her.
Well that's all for now folks. Hope you've all had a good week.

  1. Woo I'm your first comment! I was going to say that what are you are using for holding markers is what I have in my kitchen to hold large spoons and spatulas! It looks like you have a lot of projects going on! Thanks for the peek and happy WOYWW! Rachel #150

  6. Ahhhh, Anne, your desk is not a mess, it is just creatively busy :) Your pretty cards testify to it. The Grand's perspective on life is so refreshing, isn't it?
I am going to investigate the site you mentioned in your comment on my blog about the benefits of knitting. Thanks! xxx from Gracie

Create And Share Everything...means people share ideas you can use and just expect you to give credit when you do. I love the new catalogs! Took one in and had it spiral bound yesterday. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! Vickie #114
