WOYWW 169 plus other news if you've time.

Am going to start with my desk - so that those who are in a hurry can have a look and move on quickly!! There are so many desks to visit nowadays and it can take a while. If you are visiting me and leave a comment can you do me a favour a) is word verification turned off ( I hope it is) and can you find my email address? I am not sure about that. Still have much to learn re this blogging business.

To my desk  not much change methinks from last week. I did make and finish some stuff since last week - but tidied up before we went away for the weekend. The black bag holds  my tools etc when I go to class.

The other side inks, some promarkers , ribbon ,glue etc etc.

If you want to go and see some far more interesting desks then click on the WOYWW button and go over to Julia's blog and all will be revealed.

Since last week I made several cards , a new home plaque thingy for my eldest son and his family as they moved house last week.

DS and family moved to Hepworth, Holmfirth last Wednesday. There were all sorts of stresses last week but they finally got everything sorted and moved in. we went on Saturday until Monday. They were surprisingly sorted and were obviously very happy with the their new home. We are very pleased for them. The house and area is gorgeous. My grandsons seem happy despite having to move school. My son will find life easier as he won't have to travel as far to work and can be at home even when on call. My DIL has applied for a new job, she is a nurse and we hope that will be successful.

Some photos

Above the plaque I made courtesy of Craft Stamper Magazine. It's not exactly the same but quite close.

Above my grandsons Sam and Harry. They had chosen the two frogs on sticks at the garden centre we went to. Had been going for a picnic but weather put paid to that!!!

Saw this lovely specimen on the wall at the back of the house - it stayed there quite a while.

The view from the spare room at the new house.

The stream at the bottom of the garden - no danger of flooding.

The wood the other side of the stream - there is a path and the boys willwalk along there to school each day.
Yesterday it was our Wedding Anniversary 41 years!!!!! where ever did the years go. We decided to stay in and had a takeaway with a bottle of Bollinger that DH had been given last year. DH bought me some gorgeous flowers as well.

Part of my bouquet of flowers.

The card I made DH . I'm not sure about it - I never think my cards are very good :-( but DH liked it.
Well I'm off to link up with Julia and visit some other desks. Anne x

  14. Hi Anne,

Congratulations on your anniversary! Your grandsons are too cute - love the frogs they picked out. The house looks amazing; if they can hear that stream in the house it may lull them into sleep (it would me).

Your plaque is beautiful. Well done!

Thanks for visiting me already! Like you, I love all comments. It's so fun to see what everyone is doing, don't you think.

    Happy WOYWW

  18. Congratulations on your Anniversary Anne, 41 years in the blink of an eye! You're as busy as ever. I like the 'tool bag' you take to classes...is it a drop it all in bag or does it have compartments and useful sections? Am always looking to streamline!

    1. Hi Julia lovely to hear from you this week. It was a bag I was given as a toiletry bag when I went away. It does have different compartments. I think it was a MIA from Boots? Anne x
