WOYWW 157

Hello everyone hope you've all enjoyed the long weekend ( here in UK) the weather has been awful. My eldest son and family are camping in Norfolk and have had the most awful conditions - have stuk it out as my grandsons don't want to go home early. Younger son and family spent two nights camping in Wales DIL said she thought they would get blown away last night. They are going back to her mum and dad's caravan for rest of week.
Have been doing some crafting- knitting, cardmaking and making models of Moshie monsters for my grandson's birthday cake.

I just wondered where do you get your ideas from for cards. I am usually inspired by something I have made at class or see elsewhere. I wish I could just come up with some of the wonderful ideas some people seem able to - from their own imagination.
Anyway I digress it's wednesday agin and time to go and see what everyone has on their desk. Haven't heard of this desk hopping? Click on the button at end of my blog.

Left hand side - a mix of allsorts. I am working on some ideas for a workshop at the moment so everything there is part of that.
Righthand side and just more of the same really.

The card below was for a girl I know who has just started her own business . It is based on a similar one I saw in Craftstamper.

Thanks for looking I'm off to explore other desks around the world and see what wonderful ATC's everyone came up with last week for the swap. ( I am sorry mine were not sent last week but they are on their way)

  6. Well, that is a very lovely card! Your workspace looks like you have been very busy, too. Sometimes I get stuck for inspiration and turn to the internet and I purchased a few card magazines for those times, too. Sometimes I just dig through my stash and ideas kinda come to me. :)

  8. To get ideas for the cards I have made I have usually looked at a card making magazine or book, but then usually do not precisely follow the directions but rather produce my own primitive style product, Anne :)

I hope your children have made some good memories although they camped in bad weather.

I am cheering you on for your workshop presentation!
    Joy to you and yours,
    Gracie <3
