WOYWW 143

Where has February gone to? I had planned to do so much this year and it doesn't seem to have happened. If you have not been here before and wondering what on earth is WOYWW - my post title. Well click on the button at bottom of my blog and it will take you to Julia's blog where all will become clear.

Not a lot on my desk of real interest. I finished the 'springtime themed ' cards for a swap but cannot show them yet as not sure if they have been received. I did a little crafting yesterday afternoon and today I have spent the majority of my time decorating a cake for my son's birthday. I am not feeling very pleased with it so not sure yet if I want to put it on here. I will see tomorrow - am really tired at moment maybe I will like it better after a nights sleep.

Some magazines I'd been looking thru for inspiration for my spring cards.

.

Several punches - I'd been punching various flowers for spring cards and  a birthday card. I bought three new embossing folders when I was at cardmaking class last Saturday.
Below are the cards we made at class . They were al designed by Mandy.

I was quite pleased with how the one above turned out.

I messed up a little with the two above. I didn't get the wording centered in the circle aperture. It was decided by everyone that the panel with the wording on it would look better horizontally. I also stamped the greeting in the wrong colour so you cannot see it clearly.

I liked the one above but it needs some stickles in the centres of the flowers to finish it off. Thanks for looking in. Anne x

  11. You are much more advanced in your card making skill than I am, Anne. What you view as faults are to me lovely gifts that others will be grateful to receive from you. The creative process is so much fun to share with others, isn't it. Time flys by so quickly for me,too; I find myself accomplishing much less than I am dreaming of doing! <3
