Wednesday is here again time really does seem to be flying by. Not done a lot since last week really. Reading other blogs it would seem a lot of us have that February feeling. Sort of take it easy stay in and keep warm. I have done a little crafting- finished off some knitted and crocheted bits for a display at library to advertise the knitting group. Though I must admit that I don't think the staff quite have the idea of what a display is.
Anyway the reason behind the title of my post. The day lots of us put on a photo of our desk/workspace and then go and have a nosy around other desks around the world. Interested ? Go click on the WOYWW button at bottom of my blog.
So what's on my desk?
First photo you can see backs of cards in progress. I am taking part in a Spring themed card swap this month and these are the backs of the cards.
Second photo shows the layer of card and paper that will form part of the spring themed cards. At the back to the left are some stamped images (smaller pieces of white card) for same cards, waiting to be coloured. Can't show them yet as one of the ladies in the swap reads my blog and takes part in WOYWW. Hi Sheena if you look in this week.
You could seee these at the back of my desk. The floral card is based on one we made at class acouple of weeks ago and is going to Chile to my nephews wife. The Owl ones I saw on Julie's Japes blog. I buy my Stampin Up goodies from Jules. Hope she won't mind me pinching her idea. As you can see the one is for my son and the other my sister's partner. They have a birthday on the same day.
I have been trying to keep ahead with my cardmaking as I hate rushing at the last minute. I also decided that if needs be I would buy (wash my mouth out) a card if I couldn't get one made in time- less stress.
Thanks for looking. I may not get to look at many this week but will try and visit you if you have made it over to mine. Anne x
